How to travel here ...

The Kumari Ghar is the residence of the Kumari Living Goddess in Kathmandu Durbar Square. This 18th century wood panel building is set in an ornate courtyard.

Once inside the courtyard you can go no further. So take your time to walk around and enjoy the exquisite wood panel carvings all around the Kumari House. If you are lucky the Kumari herself might make an appearance from one of the upper windows.
