Mount Everest is 8,848 meters (29,029 feet) in height making it the worlds highest mountain. It's located in Nepal but also shares a border with Tibet (China).
Mount Everest Base Camp is 5,364 meters (17,598 ft) at the Nepalese side. It's a 12 day trek from Lukla where there are multiple flights everyday from Kathmandu.
