Boudhanath is also known as Boudha, Bouddhanath or Baudhanath. It's a small area about 11 kilometers outside of Kathmandu city center that contains one of the worlds largest stupas.
Legend has it that some of the Kāṣyapa Buddha's remains are buried under the stupa. The Kāṣyapa Buddha lived before the more widespread popular Shākyamuni Buḍḍha
