The Nyatapola Temple is a 5-tier temple located in Taumadhi Square, Bhaktapur, Nepal. The Nyatapola Temple was constructed by Nepali King Bhupatindra Malla over 5 months from late 1701 into 1702. It is the temple of Siddha Laxmi, who is the Hindu goddess of prosperity.
The temple is over 30 meters in height which can be initially climbed by ascending a stone staircase. Along the sides of the staircase are large statues guarding the temple.
