Located in a courtyard just off from the Taleju temple in Bhaktapur lies this incredible royal bath built in 1678 which is also known as Naga Pokhari. A bath like this is also sometimes reffered to as a "hiti". A hiti is a natural water source wherein a bath has been constructed with a man made spout.
This roual bath is renown for the detailed stone and copper gilded serpents (naga) that encircle the stone bath. If you walk down into the bath there is also a gilded metal spout of exceptional quality which you can view.
